It is supported by the School of Cyberspace Security and the Office of Network and Information Technology of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. The previous mirror site was opened for internal testing through the campus domain name in November 2023.
In terms of functions, Huazhong University of Science and Technology Open Source Mirror Station has currently synchronized There are 44 open source software images including openKylin, openEuler, OpenAnolis and deepin, and the effective image data has exceeded 40T.
The mirror site provides http and https access methods to obtain designated software download links, and also provides detailed help documents for users to inquire about the use of related software and tools. The mirror station is completely built using purely domestic software and hardware. At the hardware level, the bottom layer is authorized based on the ARM architecture and is designed independently by Huawei. Kunpeng 920 processor, the operating system uses OpenEuler ARM 22.03 LTS.
At the software level, the mirror station is completely developed and constructed using open source methods. The backend of the mirror station uses Tsinghua University's tunasync open source mirror synchronization management tool to manage software mirror sources, and the front end is independently designed and developed based on Docusaurus 2. At the same time, the main website of the mirror site, mirror synchronization tools, source swap tools, TU management tools, etc. are all open source on the GitHub and Gitee platforms.
