Unable to preview library files in word format

Jan 09, 2024 am 08:54 AM

The library word format cannot be previewed

1. Phenomenon:

When opening a document in the library, the web page has been displayed, but the document part is blank and the document content cannot be seen. However, other than that, other functions are normal and download operations are possible.

Refreshing is useless, so what should I do~~! The picture is as shown below

This problem has troubled me for two whole months. Although I sent a message to customer service, I did not receive an effective reply. Customer service seems to have never encountered a similar situation, so they can't provide a solution.

2. Solution

(1) Upgrade Adobe Flash,

If the Flash plug-in is missing on your computer, it may not function properly. You can try to download and install a plug-in called "install_flash_player_ax.exe" from major websites or the official Flash website. After the installation is complete, remember to upgrade the Flash plug-in to the latest version, which may solve your problem.

(2) Modify Flash setting options

Most likely, it is because your computer has Flash set to "Block all sites from storing information on this computer." The solution is as follows:

1. Open your computer, select "Control Panel", after opening the "Control Panel", there will be the "Flash Player" icon as shown below

2. Click the "Flash Player" icon and the following window will appear

You only need to change "Block all sites from storing information on this computer" to "Allow sites to save information on this computer". There is no OK button, it will take effect once clicked.

If you still cannot browse normally, please consult customer service

If you have done the above and you continue to be unable to browse normally, please reinstall the browser

If you have done everything and you still cannot browse normally, please reinstall the machine

What to do if the word preview function is lost in Windows 7 system

Because you can directly see the content in word through the preview function, you can even edit it directly, paste, copy, etc. without opening the word document. This is one of the reasons why I like the preview function of win7, of course there are other benefits. But today I suddenly found that there was a problem with my win7 preview function. Unable to preview word.

What’s even more strange is that the preview functions of excel and PPT are normal, only the preview function of word has problems. The editor has been searching for a long time and has not found a more perfect solution. But after thinking about it, it seems reasonable, because I am opening a word document and select the "Open" command to open another word document. When previewing a file, the system will call the default opener for this file type. When using the "File > Open" command of Word 2010, an error occurs because the Word program has already been started and the Word file can no longer be previewed.

Is this problem with the word preview function unsolvable? Of course it can be solved. Remember we said before that the Windows 7 Ultimate system can be previewed through Windows Explorer?

So, open Windows Explorer, click the "Show Preview Pane" button on the right side of the toolbar, then click on the file you want to preview, and the pane will immediately display the content of the word document.

Common functions such as UNIQUE, COUNTIF, and SORTBY can be used in conjunction with overflow range operators to generate dynamic sortable lists. The pound sign (#) in the Excel formula is also called the overflow range operator, which instructs the program to consider all results in the overflow range.
