Simply NUC releases new mini computer series, Arena Canyon Porculpin equipped with 13th generation Intel Core processor

News on June 7, Simply NUC recently released the new Arena Canyon The Porculpin mini computer series uses 13th generation Intel Core processors, with pre-sale prices starting at US$779 (approximately RMB 5,546).

According to the editor’s understanding, this series of mini computers are designed with Intel NUC core, have fanless cooling and a sturdy body, and can achieve 24/7 silent operation. This mini PC is larger than a typical Intel NUC and is better suited for use on factory floors, retail environments, and more.

Starting price model comes with an Intel Core i3-1315U processor, 4GB DDR4-3200 memory, and 256GB PCIe NVMe solid-state storage. Users can also choose to pay a fee to upgrade to a version with an Intel Core i5-1340P or Core i7-1360P processor.

In addition, users can also pay to configure up to 64GB of memory or up to 16TB of total storage space. There is an M.2 2280 slot inside the fuselage for PCIe NVMe storage, and a 2.5-inch bay to install a hard drive or SSD, supporting up to 8TB of storage per space.

It should be noted that the starting price model does not include a wireless network card, and users need to pay an additional fee of at least US$35 (approximately 249 yuan). Users can choose to pay to install the Microsoft Windows system to obtain a license, but they can also choose to install the Ubuntu system for free.

Arena Canyon Porculpin series mini computers are equipped with a set of ports, including 2 HDMI 2.1 interfaces, 2 Thunderbolt 4 interfaces, and 1 2.5 GbE Ethernet interface, 3 USB 3.2 Type-A interfaces, 1 USB 2.0 Type-A interface and 1 3.5mm audio interface. In addition, the new device provides connectors for optional antennas and has a DC power input jack for 19V/120W power. Additionally, there is an expansion panel to add additional I/O connections, including a second 2.5 GbE Ethernet port.
