Reliable sources say that Alibaba’s famous researcher Wu Hanqing has recently left the company, and this news has been confirmed. According to DingTalk, his resignation date is May 19. Wu Hanqing holds a researcher position at Alibaba, with a rank of P10. An insider revealed that Wu Hanqing has left Alibaba and chosen to start a business, focusing on the field of AI short videos, and has successfully completed a round of financing.

Wu Hanqing, known as "Brother Dao" in the industry, is one of China's top young generation hackers and was the chief security scientist of Alibaba Cloud. Public information shows that Wu Hanqing joined Alibaba in 2005 and participated in the construction of application security systems for Alibaba, Taobao, Alipay and Alibaba Cloud. At the age of 23, he became Alibaba's youngest senior technical expert and witnessed with his own eyes the development process of Alibaba's security from zero to high intensity.

Since childhood, Wu Hanqing has shown outstanding talent. When he was 15 years old, he was successfully admitted to the youth class of Xi'an Jiaotong University. Since 2000, he has devoted himself to researching network attack and defense technologies. He founded an organization called "Phantom" while in college, which has huge influence in China's security circles. After joining Alibaba in 2005, Wu Hanqing was responsible for network security and became Alibaba's youngest senior security expert. With his excellent hacking skills, he was hailed by industry insiders as "Alibaba's patron saint" and "the man who lets Jack Ma sleep peacefully."

After Wu Hanqing joined Alibaba, his job responsibilities included building and maintaining network security systems to prevent hacker attacks. At the same time, Alibaba has made a comprehensive plan for network security and established "S.H.I.E.L.D.", marking a new stage of Alibaba's network security. Wu Hanqing, head of the security technology team, and his team built a first-class anti-intrusion system in 2008.

Subsequently, Wu Hanqing joined Alibaba Cloud Computing, but because the fledgling Alibaba Cloud Computing did not make new progress for a period of time, this also led to the resignation of many members. At the age of 27, Wu Hanqing left Alibaba and worked in Alibaba Cloud Computing for 7 years.

After leaving Alibaba, Wu Hanqing joined a startup company called "Pan An Bao" as vice president. In order to share his security technology with more people, he also wrote a book called "White Hats Talk about Web Security", which was highly praised by industry insiders at the time.

However, the road to entrepreneurship was not smooth sailing. In the end, Wu Hanqing left "Pan An Bao" and returned to Alibaba in 2014 as the person in charge of "Cloud Shield".

The "901 Incident" refers to September 2015, when Alibaba Cloud encountered the largest DDoS attack since its establishment. As the person in charge of "Cloud Shield", 30-year-old Wu Hanqing personally led the team to deal with this crisis, thus gaining a reputation and being hailed as "China's most powerful hacker".

Although Wu Hanqing chose to leave Alibaba, the stories and legends between him, Alibaba and Jack Ma will continue to circulate on the Internet.
