This article mainly provides relevant information about viewing the jdk installation directory, uninstalling jdk in Linux, rpm command, and rm command parameters in Linux. Friends in need can refer to it. I hope it can help you.

1. Check the jdk installation directory

[root@node001 ~]# whereis java
java: /usr/bin/java /usr/local/java
#java执行路径
[root@node001 ~]# which java
/usr/bin/java
#查看JDK安装路径
[root@node001 ~]# echo $JAVA_HOME
/usr/local/java/jdk1.7.0_80
[root@node001 ~]# echo $PATH
/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:JAVA_HOME/bin:/usr/local/java/jdk1.7.0_80/bin:/
usr/local/erlang/bin:/root/bin
Copy after login

Note: If it is in windows, you can use:

set java_home: View JDK installation path
java -version: View JDK version

2. Uninstall JDK (uninstall according to circumstances)

1. Uninstall The jdk version that comes with the system:

Check the jdk that comes with the system:

rpm -qa|grep gcj

You may see information similar to the following :

##

  libgcj-4.1.2-44.el5
  java-1.4.2-gcj-compat-1.4.2.0-40jpp.115
Copy after login

Use the

rpm -e --nodeps command to delete the content found above:

  rpm -e –nodeps java-1.4.2-gcj-compat-1.4.2.0-40jpp.115
Copy after login

2. Uninstall the jkd version installed by rpm

Check the installed jdk:

rpm -qa|grep jdk

You may see information similar to the following:

jdk-1.6.0_22-fcs

Uninstall:

rpm -e - -nodeps jdk-1.6.0_22-fcs

Note: If you have RPM on your Linux box, you should first determine if Java was installed using RPM. If Java was not installed using RPM, skip this section.

1. Open a terminal window

2. Log in as super user root

3. Type the following command to try to find the JRE package: rpm -qa

4. If RPM reports a package similar to jre--fcs, it means Java was installed using RPM.

Note: Normally, you don't have to use RPM to uninstall Java because RPM can automatically uninstall older versions of Java when you install a new version! Skip this section unless you plan to permanently remove Java.

5. To uninstall Java, please type: rpm -e jre --fcs

3. Uninstall the self-extracting file (a very violent method, delete the installation folder directly)

(1) Determine whether Java is installed in certain folders. Common locations include /usr/java/jre_ or /opt/jre_nb/jre_/bin/java/

 (2) If the folder where Java is installed is found, you can delete this folder.

[root@node004 ~]# cd /usr/local/
[root@node004 local]# ls
bin etc games include java lib lib64 libexec nginx sbin share solr solrCloud src
[root@node004 local]# rm -rf java
[root@node004 local]# ls
bin etc games include lib lib64 libexec nginx sbin share solr solrCloud src
[root@node004 local]# java -verison
bash: /usr/local/java/jdk1.8.0_111/bin/java: 没有那个文件或目录
Copy after login

WARNING: Before deleting the folder, make sure Java was not previously installed using RPM.

(3) Type: rm -r jre

For example: rm -r jre1.7.0

rpm command set:

查询所有已安装的rpm包
rpm  -qa
查询指定安装包是否安装
rpm -qa | grep PACKAGE_NAME
查看某个已安装包的详细信息
rpm -qi PACKAGE_ANME
查看某个安装包的配置文件
rpm -qc PACKAGE_NAME
查看某个安装包生成的文件列表
rpm -ql PACKAGE_NAME
Copy after login
Install an installation package

rpm -i

rpm -ivh PACKAGE_NAME -V Display detailed process -h Display progress with #;

rm command parameters:

-d: Directly delete the hard link data of the directory to be deleted to 0 and delete the directory;

-f: Forcefully delete the file or directory;

-i: Ask the user before deleting existing files or directories;

-r or -R: Recursive processing, processing all files and subdirectories in the specified directory together;

--preserve-root: Do not perform recursive operations on the root directory;
