PHP file download function (code)
Recently, a customer reported that all the pictures on their website could not be downloaded. The downloaded pictures all showed that the files were damaged, which directly led to the inability to open them. The author tested it and found that this problem did exist, and carefully looked at the source code. It was found that the root of the problem lies in the fread function. The second parameter of the fread function is to set the maximum number of bytes to be read. After experiments, it was found that the maximum number of bytes that the fread function can read at a time is limited, which is only 8192. Bytes, that is, 8KB. For files exceeding this size, if you want to read them completely, you need to read in a loop until the end of the file. Based on the above corrections, the following code is the code after the break, and the problem has been solved after testing.
function download($file_url,$new_name=''){ if(!isset($file_url)||trim($file_url)==''){ return '500'; } if(!file_exists($file_url)){//检查文件是否存在 return '404'; } $file_name=basename($file_url); $file_type=explode('.',$file_url); $file_type=$file_type[count($file_type)-1]; $file_name=trim($new_name=='')?$file_name:urlencode($new_name).'.'.$file_type; //输入文件标签phpernote header("Content-type: application/octet-stream"); header("Accept-Ranges: bytes"); header("Accept-Length: ".filesize($file_url)); header("Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=".$file_name); //输出文件内容 @readfile($file_type); }

Common errors include signature verification failure, token expiration, and payload oversized. Debugging skills include using debugging tools and logging. 5. Performance optimization and best practices include using appropriate signature algorithms, setting validity periods reasonably,
