小弟最近想试着写个网络聊天室，遇到一个关于聊天记录的存放问题。请问哈存在数据库好不，我的同学让我存在文件中然后ajax的方式读取，他说存在数据库会对性能的影响很大，所以想问问，是直接存在文件中还是存在数据库中，或者各位大虾有什么跟牛逼的方法给教教哦，小弟不胜感激

打开数据库存放数据的目录，你会看到一个个的文件。由此可知，数据库也是把数据存放在文件中的
既然都是读写文件那么对性能能有多大的影响呢

个人觉得存文件比数据库更没有性能（聊天室估计看不出来，数据量一大就有感觉了）
只是聊天室的内容都是临时会话，所以感觉没有存数据库的必要性！
用xml确实可以！
