Runescape: Dragonwild's expansive map initially obscures exploration with a pervasive fog. While the fog reveals the map's overall size, traversing it without fast travel is challenging. Fortunately, Dragonwild offers a flexible fast travel system.

Unlike typical survival games, Dragonwild doesn't provide pre-set fast travel points. Instead, players create their own using Lodestones.

Unlocking Fast Travel: The Lodestone Recipe

To establish fast travel, you must unlock the Lodestone recipe. This unlocks after acquiring a Vault Core. Once unlocked, craft Lodestones from the build menu's first tab (under fast travel items). Each Lodestone requires:

• 32 Stone
• 20 Rune Essence
• 1 Vault Core

Place your first Lodestone at your base. Carry materials for additional Lodestones during exploration to avoid being stranded.

Interacting with a placed Lodestone displays all your established Lodestone locations on the map, enabling teleportation between them using Law Runes. These runes are obtained by defeating enemies or crafting them at the Rune Altar (Runecrafting level 16 required).

Acquiring Vault Cores

Vault Cores, essential for Lodestone creation, are found within vaults scattered across the map (one per region). A convenient vault is located southwest of the village where you receive the main quest.

Each vault contains up to three Vault Cores. These respawn rapidly; the Temple Woods vault offers quick resupply.
