How To Craft And Use Scarecrows

To craft it, open your crafting menu and click on the Scarecrow. If you have all the materials you need, you'll successfully craft it and can then put it in your inventory.

When you're ready to place the Scarecrow, select it from your inventory and place it on the ground.

The Scarecrow protects eight spaces on each side, and about six spaces on each corner. The radius of the Scarecrow covers a total of 249 spaces.

Aside from the basic scarecrow, there are eight Rarecrows you can get at various points in the game. They have the same radius as your first Scarecrow.

When you have all eight and have used them each at least once, you'll unlock the recipe for the Deluxe Scarecrow, which has double the range of the standard scarecrow.
