In Atomfall, numerous keys unlock the game's many locked doors and bunkers. One such key, the Castle Key, can be easily overlooked. This guide details its location and use.

Locating the Castle Key

The Castle Key is located within the Castle Ruins in Druid’s Camp, situated in Casterfell Woods. Enter the ruins through the main double doors (grey).

Inside, stay to the left, navigating through the kitchen area. The key rests on a countertop on your left – it's easily missed, resembling crafting materials.

Using the Castle Key

Once you have the Castle Key, proceed to the main banquet hall within the Castle Ruins. Examine the fireplace at the back of the hall. A small, hidden keyhole is located to its right.

Inserting the key moves the fireplace, revealing a passage to the rear of the ruins. This area, also accessible via a side entrance in Druid’s Camp, contains a cave system, numerous Druids, and valuable loot (including an Atomic Battery). Beyond the fireplace, a library to the right holds the Strange Tonic Recipe (counteracts Infection) and Mother Jago’s Book (for Mother Jago’s quest).
