Corporate website design: Accurately respond to 2K resolution challenges
When designing corporate websites, customers often propose special resolution requirements, such as 2K (2560x1440 pixels). However, the designer's computer screen resolution may not match exactly. How do you ensure that the design effect is perfectly presented on a 2K screen?
This is not a simple resolution adaptation. The 2K display effect is greatly affected by the screen size and system scaling ratio. At the same resolution, the display effect of a 27-inch screen and a 32-inch screen is significantly different, while the 100%, 125% or 150% system zoom will change the actual number of pixels. Therefore, designers must communicate fully with their customers to understand their screen size and scaling settings.
Relying solely on computer screens to simulate 2K effects is not accurate. A more efficient way is to use the scaling function of the design software or simulate different resolutions for previewing. But it should be noted that even at high resolution design, many commonly used UI libraries may have a xxl size slightly higher than 1600 pixels, and cannot fully cover 2K resolution.
To ensure the best display at 2K resolution, the key is to adopt a responsive design. Use CSS' @media
media query to write style rules for different resolutions, and flexibly adjust page element size, spacing and other attributes. This requires fine adjustments based on actual screen size and scaling, rather than relying on fixed resolution simulation. The ultimate goal is to achieve the best user experience across devices and across resolutions.

The roles of HTML, CSS and JavaScript in web development are: 1. HTML defines the web page structure, 2. CSS controls the web page style, and 3. JavaScript adds dynamic behavior. Together, they build the framework, aesthetics and interactivity of modern websites.

When developing websites using CraftCMS, you often encounter resource file caching problems, especially when you frequently update CSS and JavaScript files, old versions of files may still be cached by the browser, causing users to not see the latest changes in time. This problem not only affects the user experience, but also increases the difficulty of development and debugging. Recently, I encountered similar troubles in my project, and after some exploration, I found the plugin wiejeben/craft-laravel-mix, which perfectly solved my caching problem.

In the process of developing a website, improving page loading has always been one of my top priorities. Once, I tried using the Miniify library to compress and merge CSS and JavaScript files in order to improve the performance of the website. However, I encountered many problems and challenges during use, which eventually made me realize that Miniify may no longer be the best choice. Below I will share my experience and how to install and use Minify through Composer.

There are two ways to generate HTML code in Sublime Text: Using the Emmet plugin, you can generate HTML elements by entering an abbreviation and pressing the Tab key, or use a predefined HTML file template that provides basic HTML structure and other features such as code snippets, autocomplete functionality, and Emmet Snippets.

Laravel 8 provides the following options for performance optimization: Cache configuration: Use Redis to cache drivers, cache facades, cache views, and page snippets. Database optimization: establish indexing, use query scope, and use Eloquent relationships. JavaScript and CSS optimization: Use version control, merge and shrink assets, use CDN. Code optimization: Use Composer installation package, use Laravel helper functions, and follow PSR standards. Monitoring and analysis: Use Laravel Scout, use Telescope, monitor application metrics.

HTML, CSS and JavaScript are the core technologies for building modern web pages: 1. HTML defines the web page structure, 2. CSS is responsible for the appearance of the web page, 3. JavaScript provides web page dynamics and interactivity, and they work together to create a website with a good user experience.

When developing a new content management system (CMS), I encountered a common but difficult problem: how to quickly build a fully functional CMS without adding too much complexity. There are many ready-made CMS solutions available on the market, but they are often too large and complex to configure and can be a burden for small projects. After some exploration, I discovered the lebenlabs/simplecms library, which provides a simple and efficient solution through Composer.
