Settling down in a Jamstack world
One of the charms of Jamstack is that it is just a philosophy, not a strict norm. The only real requirement for me is static (powered by CDN) hosting. You can use any tool you like. However, these tools are often newer, and new tools can sometimes cause problems. Sean C Davis's pragmatic view is as follows:
I have two issues related to using the latest and best tools to solve the problem every time I have a problem.
1. This is inefficient at all. It takes time to introduce new processes and tools. Proficiency in mastering and improving efficiency requires time to accumulate. If we try to run a profitable business, we shouldn't start from scratch every time.
2. We cannot always know everything. With new tools emerging quickly, it is simply impossible to know the most suitable tools, because it is impossible to know all the available tools.
The trick is to choose some tools that have proven to work and then continue to use them to improve your professionalism.
