Koira: How To Knock Down Apples

In Koira, many puzzles involve finding and throwing objects. You'll need items to feed your canine companion, distract hunters, and even build snowmen.

Early in the game, a puzzle requires knocking apples from a tree. Koira doesn't explicitly explain this, but it's simple once you know how.

Knocking Down Apples

To knock down apples, find a throwable object. While snowballs and hats become available later, you'll initially need a stick.

A stick is located near the tree, to its right, by the dark clouds. Pick it up using X (PlayStation) or A (Xbox). Hold X/A again, aim the cursor at an apple (a box will appear when targeted), and release to throw.

Feeding Your Dog

Once the apple is on the ground, pick it up using X/A. Then, approach your dog and press X/A again to feed him. He'll happily eat it and glow. Note: If the apple lands near your dog, he'll eat it automatically.
