Schedule 1 Botanist Guide: How to Automate Your Grow Game
Hiring a botanist in Schedule I is one of the smartest moves you can do – second only to not storing all green plants near open flames. These plant-loving employees will handle the planting process for you, allowing you to scale your business while focusing on more important things like avoiding DEA.
Here is a brief guide to how to use a botanist like a boss:
Read more: Schedule 1 Tips and Tips
Step 1: Hire your botanist
You can hire workers from the building opposite Taco Tickler after 6 p.m. Enter the building and go upstairs and talk to Manny.
- Botanists are upfront at $1,500 and $200 per day (cash only).
- Choose the location where you want to arrange their work. Some locations allow more staff than others.
Step 2: Arrange their beds
Once they arrive, stand near them and press 9
to open your clipboard, then press the Botanist's E
key.
- Click to assign a bed to them.
- This is where they rest and where you put down their daily wages in your briefcase.
Step 3: Prepare supplies
Next, allocate a shelf for the following supplies:
- soil
- seed
That's it. Botanists bring their own pruning shears, so there is no need for tools.
Step 4: Assign planting pots
Clicking the pencil icon can allocate up to 8 planting pots (if there are only 6, at least 6 are required).
- Use your clipboard to select each planting kit you want them to manage.
- The more pots = more products, so scale up when you have the ability.
Step 5: Set up a potted recipe
Before going to each planting pot, press the E
key:
- Select seed varieties (such as Granddaddy Perp or Coca)
- Optional additives
- Set target shelves for harvested products
If you don't assign a destination, the botanist may figure it out for himself. But for safety reasons, choose a storage rack so that the crops you worked so hard don’t disappear into the void.
Additional tips
- You don't need to use a drying rack. Botanists will skip them unless you assign one.
- Make sure you keep replenishing their supplies – without seeds, there is no planting.
- Pay their wages regularly or they will stop working (and possibly perform…silent strikes).
Summarize
The botanists in Schedule I are low-maintenance, high-value employees. Once you arrange their beds, supplies and pots, they will handle your planting assignments like real gardening heroes. Just remember to give them soil, seeds, and cash – your plants will never be dehydrated again.
