Two Point Museum: Guide To Staff
Two Point Museum: A Comprehensive Guide to Staff Management
In Two Point Museum, effective staff management is crucial for success. This guide covers hiring, firing, training, injury/illness treatment, assignment, and maintaining staff happiness.
Hiring and Firing Staff
To hire staff, click the "Hire Staff" button in the left-side menu. A window with four staff categories appears:
- Experts: Maintain and analyze exhibits; crucial for new exhibitions.
- Assistants: Handle ticket sales, gift shop, and cafeteria; boost customer satisfaction.
- Janitors: Clean, repair, and (with training) create items in the workshop.
- Security Officers: Collect donations, capture criminals, and (with training) operate the Camera Room.
Each staff member has a hiring fee (separate from wages). Higher starting levels and skills increase hiring costs and wages. Initially, three candidates are available, each with randomized traits and skills.
To dismiss a candidate, click the red trashcan icon or select "Dismiss" from their profile. New applicants appear every eight in-game days; you can also advertise for Experts (2,500 cash) specifying expertise.
Treating Staff Injuries and Illnesses
Expeditions frequently result in staff injuries. Treatment depends on the severity:
- Minor Injuries: Use the Bandage Box in the Staff Room (unlocked early in the campaign).
- Serious Illnesses (e.g., Irritable Trowel): Send staff on a solo Expedition to Remedial Springs (unlocked after achieving two stars in any two museums).
- Curses: Send staff to Curses, Curses, Curses in the Netherworld.
Untreated injuries/illnesses negatively impact staff performance and happiness.
