A total of 47 campfires are scattered across the map; some are in fixed locations, while others are randomly placed within POIs.

Many campfires are concentrated in the northern and southeastern areas of the map.

Using Campfires

Campfires provide healing. Approach a campfire and press the interaction button (X on Xbox, Square on PlayStation, E on PC). Lighting a campfire heals 2 health per second. Adding 30 wood doubles this to 4 health per second. Lighting two campfires completes a week 7 challenge, rewarding 25,000 experience.
