How To Achieve A Stealth Kill

Before attempting a stealth kill, read your surroundings and look around for enemies nearby who can alert everyone in the base or a residence. To perform a stealth kill, crouch first, locate an unalerted enemy, and pick up a melee weapon from nearby, or you can press E while holding your revolver if you're on a PC or X if you're on Xbox, to turn it upside down and make it a melee weapon.

Approach the enemy from behind and once two lines appear near your crosshair, press left click or RT to initiate the stealth takedown to immediately make them immobile without alerting anyone, and you can hide their body for additional stealth.

Glass melee weapons like bottles can break on impact and cannot kill enemies.

Patrol Dog Enemies

If you come across some soldiers paired with their patrol dogs, you may have to rethink your stealth approach, since Indiana Jones won't attack their dogs at any cost. You can distract your enemies first by throwing a glass bottle or any other throw-able item to lure them away and take them down silently once a window opens.

Messing up the stealth kill's execution will put the patrol dog on high alert, and your dire option is to retreat from the vicinity as you cannot kill the dog, let alone knock it out.
