Bitcoin Market Sees Balance Shift from Intuition-Driven to Data-Driven Strategies
CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju highlights intuitive thinkers' dominance has dropped to 60%, data-backed thinkers rising.
CryptoQuant CEO highlights a key shift in the Bitcoin market. According to him, there are two main groups of people when it comes to thinking about Bitcoin. The first group includes those who rely on their intuition to break the rules and push the boundaries, while the second group prefers to stick to the proven methods based on data and evidence. This shift could signal a change in how the market is approaching Bitcoin, bringing both creativity and structure together.
Five years ago, the majority of the people in the Bitcoin market were intuitive thinkers, said Ki Young Ju. These are the people who take risks, think outside the box, and don’t always follow traditional rules.
“Intuitive thinkers break the rules, seeing the essence beyond the box. Empirical thinkers stick to the rules in the box, but miss the essence,” he explained. “Feels like this ratio for #Bitcoin shifted from 90:10 to 60:40 in five years. Time to meet at the edges and reshape the rules together.”
According to him, the ratio of intuitive thinkers to those who follow data-driven strategies was around 90:10 at the time. However, today the ratio has changed. Now, the balance is closer to 60:40.
This means that while intuitive thinkers are still important, more people are starting to focus on what the numbers and patterns tell them about the market. These empirical thinkers prefer to stay within the rules and rely on facts rather than gut feelings.
What’s interesting about this shift is that Ki Young Ju believes both groups have something important to offer. He suggests it’s time for these two types of thinkers to work together and reshape the rules of the Bitcoin market. By combining the innovative spirit of intuitive thinkers with the caution and structure of empirical thinkers, the market could become even stronger.
This shift shows that Bitcoin is maturing as a financial asset. It’s no longer just about taking big risks and hoping for the best. People are now mixing creative thinking with data-backed decisions, helping the market grow in a more stable and balanced way.
