Blockchain analysis firm PeckShield noted in two separate posts that an unidentified entity withdrew $10.3 million in crypto from the protocol in two suspicious transactions.
In response, Aleksander Larsen, co-founder of Ronin Network, stated in a tweet that the team “will follow up with more information shortly,” adding that the bridge “secures over $850 million which is safe.” He also noted that the team is looking into a “report from whitehats about a potential MEV exploit.” No further details were provided.

An earlier report from blockchain security firm Forta Network also highlighted the suspicious transactions, adding that the total amount of crypto being drained from the bridge could be as high as $13.9 million. Ronin Bridge (RON), a multi-signature cross-chain bridge that connects various networks with the Ronin Network, was allegedly exploited on Tuesday

In a significant blow to the Ronin Network, the blockchain bridge has reportedly been hacked. It has resulted in the theft of approximately $12 million in Ethereum (ETH) and USD Coin (USDC).

“The bridge currently secures over $850M which is safe,” co-founder @Psycheout86 said in an X post.

During the meme coin rise of 2024, the PEPE community saw its value soar nearly fifteenfold at its peak before pulling back about 30% from those levels. This shows the coin's strong performance in an unpredictable market.

Pepe Unchained (PEPU) is joining a saturated meme coin market, which recently experienced a green trend with PEPE, WIF, and BRETT soaring. However, PEPU's utility-driven ecosystem may result in even bigger gains once it launches on DEXs.

As the market expands, new, promising projects are moving past well-known names. BlockDAG has become a standout as a top bullish crypto, bolstered by its advanced first-layer ecosystem.

Monero (XMR) is seeing its price fall, with signs pointing to further decreases. On the other hand, Solana’s meme coin, Moo Deng, has experienced a sharp price increase. But it’s BlockDAG that’s capturing attention.

BlockDAG has notably outshone both, having swiftly raised $10 million in just 72 hours, elevating its total funds to over $90 million.
