ACCESS统计不重复记录个数问题

因为客户字段会重复，我想在子窗体页脚新建一个文本框，统计每次窗体筛选结果后，客户不重复个数，并在文件框显示。试了很多种方法都不行，DISTINCT在文本框的控制来源不适用。在文本框的控件来源能实现吗?请教高手们有何办法?
问题补充：这条select语句我知道的,但只能用在查询里,不知道我想要的功能能否在子窗体实现呢?

对select语句，access数据库可以支持DISTINCT关键字，，但聚集函数就不支持了
可以这么写
select count(*) from (select distinct 要统计的字段名 from 表名)
