smarty - 有没有比较完美的PHP字符限制函数
项目是 PHP 做的，使用 smarty 模板引擎，很多地方输出的文本是需要截取的，但是编码是 UTF-8，中文和英文都算一个字符，试过很多很截取函数，效果都不怎么好。 有没有一个比较完美的函数，能够把两个英文字母当作一个汉字来处理这种截取方式的？

mb系列的函数应该能满足需求，mb_substr mb_strimwidth 这些函数可以试试，当然先确保安装了 mb_string 扩展。
