视频网站如何保证在高并发时播放流畅

据朋友说：一个比较长的完整的视频你看到内容虽是一个整体，其实是分段的，在服务器内部以文件分块存储，播放到下一段时又加载下一段的视频文件。如果基于http协议，你在视频网站上看一个120分钟左右的电影，那120分钟的电影整个就一文件不大可能，至于同一段文件同时多人打开观看时的并发问题又是如何处理的我不清楚，再找找资料吧。
问题所提到的所谓“视频高并发时不卡”应该是指即使很多人在线观看，缓冲也十分迅速的意思吧。
如上面所说，分段是很常用的手法之一。
一是，对视频分段储存和传输，Client一侧采用惰性加载的策略，针对看一部分就关掉视频的那些用户可以节省流量。
二是，采用CDN，不赘述了
三是，对视频进行适当的压缩，压制，减少冗余内容，从源头节省流量。
四是，可以采用P2P技术。
