animation develop

This time I will bring you SVGanimation in front-end development. What are the precautions for using SVG animation in front-end development. The following is a practical case, let’s take a look.

animate

The animate element in svg can be used to achieve animation effects

attributeName
Define the attribute name of the element that changes

attributeType
When attributeType="XML", attributeName is considered an attribute of XML; when attributeType="CSS", attributeName is considered an attribute of css; when attributeType is not specified, the default is "auto", and attributeName will be used as a css attribute first. Attribute, if invalid, then attributeName is used as an XML attribute.

from, to, by
from and to respectively define the initial value and end value of the changed attribute. from can be defaulted, which means that the initial value is the corresponding attribute value of the animate parent element. You can replace to with by to indicate the change offset. It can be understood as to = from + by.

begin, dur, end
begin defines the animation start time; dur defines the animation required time; end defines the animation termination time. Time unit h: hour; min: minute; s: second; ms: millisecond. The default time unit is: s

fill
When fill="freeze", when the animation terminates, the changed element attribute value stays in the state when the animation terminates; when fill="remove", When the animation terminates, the changed element attribute values return to the state when the animation started. The default value of the fill attribute is: remove.

<rect x="10" y="10" width="200" height="20" stroke="green" fill="none">    <animate attributeName="width" attributeType="XML"
    from="20" to="200" begin="0s" dur="3s" fill="freeze" /></rect>
Copy after login

The above code will realize the animation of a green square gradually lengthening.

animateTransform

To implement the animation of transform attribute change, use animateTransform to replace the animate element.
The attributeName of animateTransform is specified as transform, and the type attribute is used to specify the attributes that need to be changed, such as: translate, scale, rotate, skewX, skewY, etc.

animateTransform also has an additive attribute. By default, the additive attribute value is replace, which means that the initial state of the current animateTransform has nothing to do with the previous animateTransform change results. If additive="sum", it means that the current animateTransform change is based on the previous animateTransform change.

<rect x="10" y="10" width="20" height="20" style="fill: #ff9; stroke: black;">
    <animateTransform id="a1" attributeName="transform" attributeType="XML" type="scale" from="1" to="4 2" additive="sum" begin="0s" dur="4s" fill="freeze"></animateTransform>
    <animateTransform attributeName="transform" attributeType="XML" type="rotate" from="0" to="45" additive="sum" begin="a1.end" dur="4s" fill="freeze"></animateTransform></rect>
Copy after login

animateMotion

animateMotion can achieve effects that cannot be achieved with CSS animation properties alone.
animateMotion can make the parent element move along a specified path, such as:

<g>
    <rect x="0" y="0" width="50" height="30" style="fill: #ccc;"/>
    <circle cx="40" cy="30" r="10" style="fill: #fff; stroke: black;"/>
    <circle cx="10" cy="30" r="10" style="fill: #fff; stroke: black;"/>
    <animateMotion path="M50,125 C 100,25 150,225, 200, 125" dur="4s" fill="freeze"/></g>
Copy after login

animateMotion has a rotate attribute, which defaults to 0. The element will not rotate during movement. When set to auto, the horizontal axis corresponding to the element will always remain horizontal to the path.

Loading effect

Use the background-image attribute to display the svg animation as the loading state. Note that you need to add a data description after the url: data:image/svg+xml,

Publiccss

.loading {    width: 100px;    height: 100px;    background-repeat: no-repeat;    background-size: cover;
}
Copy after login
