How to uninstall Redis in Linux?
Steps to uninstall Redis on Linux:
1. Check whether reids is running. If it is running, close it first
Use the following command to view:
ps aux | grep redis
As can be seen from the picture, redis-server is currently running on port 6379 and the process needs to be closed.
Use the following command to shut down the process
kill -9 PID
2. Stop the redis-server service
Stop the redis-server service normally , use the reids client command:
redis-cli shutdown
3. Delete the redis-related files in the /usr/local/lib directory:
View File:
ls /usr/local/bin/redis-*
Delete file:
rm -rf /usr/local/bin/redis-*
4. Delete the decompressed file directory and all files
rm -rf redis-3.2.1
Uninstallation completed
