Dropzone.js implements file drag and drop upload function
dropzone.js is an open source JavaScript library that provides AJAX asynchronous file upload function, supports dragging files, supports maximum file size, supports setting file types, supports previewing upload results, and does not rely on the jQuery library.
Using Dropzone
We can create a formal upload form and give the form a .dropzone class.
<form id="mydropzone" action="/upload.php" class="dropzone"></form>
In this way, Dropzone will automatically find the form element of .dropzone, and upload it to the program that receives files in the background through the action attribute, such as upload.php, just like accepting a very Ordinary file input form:
<input type="file" name="file" />
Then, write the upload code in your upload.php. The official website of Dropzone downloads only the js code and no background upload code, but helloweba. com provides you with the complete upload example code of the PHP version. You are welcome to download the source code.
The next step is to introduce dropzone.js.
<script src="dropzone.min.js"></script>
Then there is nothing to do, just open the browser and test the drag and drop upload effect. Of course, you can write the style yourself, or you can refer to our example code.
There is another situation, we don’t want the form to be included in the uploaded html, so fine, we just need to place a div in the html#mydropzone
<div id="mydropzone" class="dropzone"></div>
Then, Configure the js call:
var myDropzone = new Dropzone("div#mydropzone", { url: "upload.php"});
If you are using jquery, then the jQuery version can be called like this:
$("#dropz").dropzone({ url: "upload.php" })
Run your web page , can you still see the upload effect?
Configuring Dropzone
The feature of Dropzone is that it is very flexible and provides many options, events, etc. The following are several commonly used configuration items in Dropzone.
url: The most important parameter, indicating which page the file is submitted to.
method: The default is post, which can be changed to put if necessary.
paramName: Equivalent to the name attribute of the element, the default is file.
maxFilesize: Maximum file size, unit is MB.
maxFiles: The default is null and can be specified as a numerical value to limit the maximum number of files.
addRemoveLinks: Default false. If set to true, a delete link will be added to the file.
acceptedFiles: Specify the file types that are allowed to be uploaded. The format is a comma-separated MIME type or extension. For example: image/*,application/pdf,.psd,.obj
uploadMultiple: Indicates whether Dropzone is allowed to submit multiple files at one time. The default is false. If set to true, it is equivalent to adding multiple attributes to HTML forms.
headers: If set, it will be sent to the server as additional header information. For example: {"custom-header": "value"}
init: A function called when Dropzone is initialized and can be used to add your own event listener.
forceFallback: Fallback is a mechanism that provides an alternative when the browser does not support this plug-in. Default is false. If set to true, force fallback.
fallback: A function called if the browser does not support this plug-in.
The above is the Dropzone.js implementation of file drag and drop upload introduced by the editor. I hope it will be helpful to you. JavaScript is the cornerstone of modern web development, and its main functions include event-driven programming, dynamic content generation and asynchronous programming. 1) Event-driven programming allows web pages to change dynamically according to user operations. 2) Dynamic content generation allows page content to be adjusted according to conditions. 3) Asynchronous programming ensures that the user interface is not blocked. JavaScript is widely used in web interaction, single-page application and server-side development, greatly improving the flexibility of user experience and cross-platform development.

The latest trends in JavaScript include the rise of TypeScript, the popularity of modern frameworks and libraries, and the application of WebAssembly. Future prospects cover more powerful type systems, the development of server-side JavaScript, the expansion of artificial intelligence and machine learning, and the potential of IoT and edge computing.

Different JavaScript engines have different effects when parsing and executing JavaScript code, because the implementation principles and optimization strategies of each engine differ. 1. Lexical analysis: convert source code into lexical unit. 2. Grammar analysis: Generate an abstract syntax tree. 3. Optimization and compilation: Generate machine code through the JIT compiler. 4. Execute: Run the machine code. V8 engine optimizes through instant compilation and hidden class, SpiderMonkey uses a type inference system, resulting in different performance performance on the same code.

Python is more suitable for beginners, with a smooth learning curve and concise syntax; JavaScript is suitable for front-end development, with a steep learning curve and flexible syntax. 1. Python syntax is intuitive and suitable for data science and back-end development. 2. JavaScript is flexible and widely used in front-end and server-side programming.

JavaScript is the core language of modern web development and is widely used for its diversity and flexibility. 1) Front-end development: build dynamic web pages and single-page applications through DOM operations and modern frameworks (such as React, Vue.js, Angular). 2) Server-side development: Node.js uses a non-blocking I/O model to handle high concurrency and real-time applications. 3) Mobile and desktop application development: cross-platform development is realized through ReactNative and Electron to improve development efficiency.

The shift from C/C to JavaScript requires adapting to dynamic typing, garbage collection and asynchronous programming. 1) C/C is a statically typed language that requires manual memory management, while JavaScript is dynamically typed and garbage collection is automatically processed. 2) C/C needs to be compiled into machine code, while JavaScript is an interpreted language. 3) JavaScript introduces concepts such as closures, prototype chains and Promise, which enhances flexibility and asynchronous programming capabilities.
