Learn how to transfer POAP NFT from the Ethereum network to the xDai network
php editor Apple has brought a guide on transferring POAP NFT in the xDai network. The xDai network is one of the side chains of Ethereum and features low cost and fast transactions. POAP NFTs are a very popular digital collectible, and many people want to know how to transfer them within the xDai network. This guide will introduce in detail how to complete the POAP NFT transfer process on the xDai network, helping readers easily master this technique. Whether you are a newbie or an experienced cryptocurrency user, this guide will provide you with clear steps and instructions for smoothly transferring POAP NFTs within the xDai network.
Friends who usually have this need do so for two reasons:
Dencentraland sometimes receives a lot of the same type of POAP due to bugs, so you can transfer the excess The POAP was resold and given to friends as gifts. For example, when I participated in the activities of Babbitt and Chain Node in DCL, I accidentally received 4 POAPs.
#An address received a POAP that is widely recognized by the NFT market and has transaction value due to some on-chain actions. The address wants to transfer these POAPs to the mainnet for transactions, but it does not have enough mainnet ETH to complete the cross-chain behavior. Therefore, this address intends to transfer these POAPs to its own other address.
From a user perspective, how can it be easily operated? The author recently looked through all the tool platforms on xDai and found a method.
Using the POAP official website and blockchain browser Blockscout as well as EPORIO’s built-in token distribution tool, the completion process is not complicated.
Please note: The following process requires you to have at least 0.11 XDAI. If you don’t have XDAI, you can exchange and withdraw it on some centralized exchanges. The main reason is that there are no fees for withdrawals. You can withdraw TRC20 to an exchange that supports xDai, then exchange it for XDAI and withdraw it. The handling fees are only a few tenths of those for cross-chain operations in decentralized wallets.
Basic Principle
All POAP on xDai are cast in the same contract. The only difference is the image link and Token ID. Therefore, you only need to know the Token ID and contract address of the POAP. You can select a POAP and forward it with the help of tools.
Find Token ID
First, open the official viewing address of POAP: https://app.poap.xyz, click enter an adress by hand, or click the button above to use a wallet such as MetaMask direct connection.
After inputting, click Display Badge to jump to a new page and visually view the POAPs owned in the address:
Click on the POAP you want to transfer to jump to the details page of the POAP. The last number in the URL is the Token ID of the POAP.
Find the contract address of POAP
The contract address of POAP is: 0x22C1f6050E56d2876009903609a2cC3fEf83B41
Want to find this contract address yourself? Open the block explorer Blockscout's xDai browser, find your address, and find the POAP in ERC 721 in the Balance in the upper right corner:
Click once and you're done Jump to the POAP details page and copy this string of addresses.
Note: Although there are icons added to MetaMask here, because POAP is a non-fungible token (NFT), each POAP cannot be equal, and it is not yet possible to pass MetaMask The plug-in wallet transferred successfully.
Start transferring POAP
You already have 0.11 XDAI, POAP contract address and the Token ID of a specific POAP, and then you can transfer to POAP!
Open the xDai NFT issuance and trading platform eporio, click on the personal avatar in the upper right corner, and then click connect to connect the wallet to the platform:
After connection , click SEND TOKENS displayed on the page, which is the token distribution tool provided by the eporio tool platform:
After that, continue to select ADD TRANSFER:
Fill in the recipient's address, together with the previously copied POAP contract address and the Token ID of the POAP to be transferred, into the table as shown below:
After inputting, click the ADD TRANSFER button to enter the confirmation page. You can continue to add other transaction requirements and package them together for delivery:
If none For other needs, just click SEND; if there is not enough XDAI in your wallet, the following prompt will appear:
If the amount is sufficient (the 0.11 XDAI mentioned earlier is usually more than enough, because The transfer fee is 0.1 XDAI, and it also needs to be a small part of GAS), you can click SEND, confirm the transaction through the wallet, and complete the entire transfer process:
Finally , check the recipient's address through the POAP official website mentioned earlier. The POAP that has been transferred will be displayed, which means the transfer is successful.
