"Using the 'multi-machine in one nest' technology, work that used to require at least two professional pilots can now be completed by just one person, one vehicle, and one platform." Cheng Yiheng, the company's technical office, said.
It is understood that once the company's construction vehicle arrives at the site, a staff member will unfold the rolling shutter door and drone landing pad. Then, tasks are assigned to the vehicle-mounted airport through the platform, so that the three drones can start performing tasks. They will follow pre-planned routes and conduct independent and detailed inspections of multi-level towers at the same time. This method significantly improves the efficiency of drone inspection work
"In the previous inspection of drone towers, the two of us each carried an aircraft and six batteries, and could only complete the inspection task of up to thirty towers in a day. Now, only five In minutes, the inspection of three towers can be completed at the same time, greatly improving work efficiency." Inspector Chen Kai said
It is reported that using the "multiple aircraft in one nest" technology, after the vehicle-mounted aircraft arrives at the scene, the drone will complete the entire inspection independently. Even novices with little experience in drone flying can obtain high-quality detailed inspections of poles and towers. Inspect pictures, and the data will be automatically synchronized to the platform. The platform will use algorithms to quickly identify pictures, find defects, and automatically complete a comprehensive standardized inspection process.
In the next step, the company will continue to carry out "one nest, multiple machines" line grid inspection work, fully roll out autonomous drone inspection scenarios, and use cutting-edge technology to comprehensively help ensure power supply.
