


AI processing power is 14.7 times faster, Samsung Exynos 2400 chip NPU information exposed
IT House News on October 24th, Samsung officially announced the Exynos 2400 processor at the System LSI Technology Day event held in San Jose, California, on October 5th this year. It means that the CPU performance is better than the Exynos 2200 70% faster, AI processing power is 14.7 times faster.
Foreign technology media Android Headlines recently shared more details about the Exynos 2400 processor NPU chip.
The report states that Samsung has significantly optimized the NPU chip’s support for non-linear operations. Through optimization methods such as architectural adjustments, Exynos 2400 has improved by 3 times compared to the previous generation solution in the MobileBERT benchmark test.

Samsung Exynos 2400 processor is expected to adopt 1 2 3 4 architecture, mainly including:
- 1 Cortex-X4 core running at 3.1GHz
- 2 Cortex-A720 cores running at 2.9GHz
- 3 Cortex-A720 cores running at 2.6GHz
- 4 Cortex-A520 cores running at 1.8GHz
