Adobe Photoshop web version officially launched, supporting multiple AI functions
IT House News on September 28, after nearly two years of testing, Adobe’s Photoshop web service (online web version) has now been fully launched.
According to information shared by Adobe with foreign media The Verge, the web version of Photoshop will soon support AI-generated fill and generate extended image tools, which have recently been released for the desktop version of Photoshop.
These features are powered by the Adobe Firefly generative AI model, are available for commercial use, and allow users to quickly add, remove, or expand images using text-based descriptions in more than 100 languages while matching the original image's Lighting conditions and viewing angle
Photoshop web version has a redesigned layout to provide a more streamlined user experience for new users. It offers many of the desktop's most commonly used tools, including the contextual taskbar feature added earlier to the desktop Photoshop app that suggests the most relevant steps for users to take in their workflow
Additionally, tools for similar workflows, such as those for selecting objects and retouching images, are grouped together to simplify the interface. For veterans who prefer the complex UI of desktop Photoshop, this simplified design can be disabled. Adobe says desktop features such as the patch tool, pen tool, smart object support, polygonal lasso and more will also be added to the web version "soon."
The web version of Photoshop also provides the function of collaborating on projects, and users can invite others to participate. At the same time, other users using Photoshop can also browse and comment on the image
The web version of Photoshop service is included in the Photoshop paid plan, starting at US$9.99 per month (IT House Note: currently about 73 yuan), and will not provide a free experience.
