How to call Baidu Map API through Python programming to realize the click event of POI points on the map?

Baidu Map is a widely used map service. It provides a rich API interface to facilitate developers to customize map functions and interactions. This article will introduce how to use Python programming to call Baidu Map API to implement click events on POI points on the map.

Before we start, we need to prepare a Baidu Maps developer account and obtain the API key (ak). At the same time, you also need to install the Python requests library for sending HTTP requests.

First, we need to create a map page and reference the JavaScript API of Baidu Maps. In the HTML file, introduce the following code:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
    <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/>
    <style type="text/css">
        #map {
            width: 100%;
            height: 400px;
        }
    </style>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://api.map.baidu.com/api?v=3.0&ak=your_api_key"></script>
</head>
<body>
    <div id="map"></div>
    <script type="text/javascript">
        var map = new BMap.Map("map");
        map.centerAndZoom(new BMap.Point(116.404, 39.915), 14);

        // 添加点击事件
        map.addEventListener("click", function (e) {
            console.log(e.point);
            var lng = e.point.lng;
            var lat = e.point.lat;
            // 发送请求获取该点的POI信息
            var url = "http://api.map.baidu.com/place/v2/search?query=POI&location=" +
                lat + "," + lng + "&radius=1000&output=json&ak=your_api_key";
            fetch(url)
                .then(response => response.json())
                .then(data => {
                    console.log(data.results);
                    // 处理返回的POI信息
                    // ...
                })
                .catch(error => {
                    console.log(error);
                });
        });
    </script>
</body>
</html>
Copy after login

Please replace your_api_key in the above code with your own Baidu Map API key.

In the above code, we used Baidu Map's JavaScript API to create a map instance and set the center point and zoom level of the map. Next, by adding a click event listener, the event will be triggered when the user clicks on a location on the map. The event handler will send the clicked location coordinates to the POI search API of Baidu Maps and obtain POI information near the point.

In the event handling function, we construct an API request URL, use the fetch function to send the HTTP request, and convert the returned data into JSON format. You can view the returned POI information through console.log. You can process the returned data according to actual needs, such as displaying POI points on a map or displaying detailed information on a page.

After running the above code, open the map page. When you click on a location on the map, the console will output the longitude and latitude of the location and nearby POI information.

Calling Baidu Map API through Python programming to realize the click event of POI points on the map can provide us with rich functions for developing map applications. You can further develop as needed, such as displaying nearby restaurants, attractions, etc. based on POI information, or obtaining traffic routes on the map based on click events.

I hope this article can help you call Baidu Map API in Python programming to implement click events on POI points on the map.
