


Zhiyu Biotech won the 'Second Prize' in the 2nd Photosynthetic Organization AI Solution Competition
On April 11, 2023, the expert review meeting of the "Second Photosynthetic Organization AI Solution Competition" that lasted for several months came to a successful conclusion, and the winners list was officially released. Zhiyu Biotechnology won the second prize in this competition with its "efficient AlphaFold2-E2Etorch".
Photosynthetic Organization is hosting its second AI Solutions Competition, focusing on the application of emerging technologies and innovative applications in the field of artificial intelligence. The competition has opened two major tracks: "AI Technology" and "AI Application" based on domestic heterogeneous acceleration chips. It is committed to building a platform for technological innovation and working with companies to jointly promote the upgrading of the artificial intelligence industry.
After multiple rounds of evaluation including research, preliminary screening, and competition by the review experts and the competition organizing committee, more than 30 units finally entered the finals to compete for major awards.
Zhiyu Biotechnology’s entry project this time is "High-Performance Version AlphaFold2-E2Etorch". The goal of this project is to improve the performance of the Alphafold2-E2E computing component, and to deepen the scientific research of the Alphafold2 method by re-modifying E2E. understanding.
Using it as a key component, Zhiyu Biotech released Fast-alphafold2 in 2022, which improved the speed of sequence modeling of about 1000 sequences by nearly 100 times, and the overall time only takes about 10 minutes, of which E2E only takes about 5 minutes, which has greatly improved the efficiency of the entire Fast-alphafold2.
This is an application that has actually been implemented at the industrial level and has played a major role in the biocomputing industry.
Currently, the high-performance E2Etorch computing component and its application Fast-alphafold2 have been integrated into Zhiyu Biotech’s high-throughput, high-precision, full-ecological, and full-process biological computing platform "Yuyun ZCloud", successfully It provides efficient, fast and accurate computing empowerment to the majority of platform users.
In the future, Zhiyu Biotech will continue to iteratively upgrade "Yuyun ZCloud" and its components, with a view to serving and applying computing technology to the industry better and faster, and promoting application breakthroughs from slow to Fast quantitative change and qualitative change from 0 to 1.
