How to build and configure nginx server
1. Install compilation tools and library files
Depending on library installation, be sure to install it in order:
(1) If not Install c compilation environment
yum install gcc-c++
(2) The ssl function requires the openssl library
wget https://www.openssl.org/source/openssl-1.1.0f.tar.gz tar -zxvf openssl-1.1.0f.tar.gz cd openssl-1.1.0f ./config make && make install
(3) The rewrite module requires the pcre library
wget https://ftp.pcre.org/pub/pcre/pcre-8.01.tar.gz tar -zxvf pcre-8.01.tar.gz cd pcre-8.01 ./configure make && make install
(4) The gzip module requires the zlib library
wget https://nchc.dl.sourceforge.net/project/libpng/zlib/1.2.11/zlib-1.2.11.tar.gz tar -zxvf zlib-1.2.11.tar.gz cd zlib-1.2.11 ./configure make && make install
(4) nginx installation
wget http://nginx.org/download/nginx-1.12.1.tar.gz tar -zxvf nginx-1.12.1.tar.gz cd nginx-1.12.1 ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/nginx make && make install
2. Set up dependent library connection
If you enter the statement: ./usr/local/nginx An error occurred in /sbin/nginx:
error while loading shared libraries: libpcre.so.0: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory
can be entered :
whereis libpcre.so.1
Result: libpcre.so: /lib64/libpcre.so.1 /usr/local/lib/libpcre.so /usr/local /lib/libpcre.so.0
Use the ln command again to connect libpcre.so.0, libpcre.so and libpcre.so.1 to the lib64 directory:
ln -s /usr/local/lib/libpcre.so.0 /lib64
3. nginx configuration
Create the user www for running nginx:
/usr/sbin/groupadd www /usr/sbin/useradd -g www www
Configure ngix.conf, enter: vi /usr/local/webserver/nginx/conf The content of /nginx.conf is modified to:
user www www; worker_processes 2; error_log ../error.log; pid /usr/local/nginx/nginx.pid; worker_rlimit_nofile 65535; events { use epoll; worker_connections 65535; } http { include mime.types; default_type application/octet-stream; log_format main '$remote_addr - $remote_user [$time_local] "$request" ' '$status $body_bytes_sent "$http_referer" ' '"$http_user_agent" "$http_x_forwarded_for"'; server_names_hash_bucket_size 128; client_header_buffer_size 32k; large_client_header_buffers 4 32k; client_max_body_size 8m; sendfile on; tcp_nopush on; keepalive_timeout 60; tcp_nodelay on; fastcgi_connect_timeout 300; fastcgi_send_timeout 300; fastcgi_read_timeout 300; fastcgi_buffer_size 64k; fastcgi_buffers 4 64k; fastcgi_busy_buffers_size 128k; fastcgi_temp_file_write_size 128k; gzip on; gzip_min_length 1k; gzip_buffers 4 16k; gzip_http_version 1.0; gzip_comp_level 2; gzip_types text/plain application/x-javascript text/css application/xml; gzip_vary on; server { listen 80;//端口 server_name localhost;//域名 index test.html index.htm index.php;//解析网页名称 root /usr/local/nginx/html; #站点目录 location ~ .*\.(php|php5)?$ { #fastcgi_pass unix:/tmp/php-cgi.sock; fastcgi_pass 127.0.0.1:9000; fastcgi_index index.php; include fastcgi.conf; } location ~ .*\.(gif|jpg|jpeg|png|bmp|swf|ico)$ { expires 30d; # access_log off; } location ~ .*\.(js|css)?$ { expires 15d; # access_log off; } access_log off; } }
Check whether the configuration is correct:
/usr/local/webserver/nginx/sbin/nginx -t
Start: /usr/local/webserver/nginx/sbin/nginx
Listening process: ps -ef|grep nginx
Access server ip: 192.168.1.23
Problem: It will also appear when the configuration is correct If the IP address is inaccessible:
You can configure it through Alibaba Cloud Server, esc server->Security Group->Configuration Rules->Add Rules.

How to configure Nginx in Windows? Install Nginx and create a virtual host configuration. Modify the main configuration file and include the virtual host configuration. Start or reload Nginx. Test the configuration and view the website. Selectively enable SSL and configure SSL certificates. Selectively set the firewall to allow port 80 and 443 traffic.

Docker container startup steps: Pull the container image: Run "docker pull [mirror name]". Create a container: Use "docker create [options] [mirror name] [commands and parameters]". Start the container: Execute "docker start [Container name or ID]". Check container status: Verify that the container is running with "docker ps".

You can query the Docker container name by following the steps: List all containers (docker ps). Filter the container list (using the grep command). Gets the container name (located in the "NAMES" column).

How to confirm whether Nginx is started: 1. Use the command line: systemctl status nginx (Linux/Unix), netstat -ano | findstr 80 (Windows); 2. Check whether port 80 is open; 3. Check the Nginx startup message in the system log; 4. Use third-party tools, such as Nagios, Zabbix, and Icinga.

Create a container in Docker: 1. Pull the image: docker pull [mirror name] 2. Create a container: docker run [Options] [mirror name] [Command] 3. Start the container: docker start [Container name]

The methods that can query the Nginx version are: use the nginx -v command; view the version directive in the nginx.conf file; open the Nginx error page and view the page title.

How to configure an Nginx domain name on a cloud server: Create an A record pointing to the public IP address of the cloud server. Add virtual host blocks in the Nginx configuration file, specifying the listening port, domain name, and website root directory. Restart Nginx to apply the changes. Access the domain name test configuration. Other notes: Install the SSL certificate to enable HTTPS, ensure that the firewall allows port 80 traffic, and wait for DNS resolution to take effect.

When the Nginx server goes down, you can perform the following troubleshooting steps: Check that the nginx process is running. View the error log for error messages. Check the syntax of nginx configuration. Make sure nginx has the permissions you need to access the file. Check file descriptor to open limits. Confirm that nginx is listening on the correct port. Add firewall rules to allow nginx traffic. Check reverse proxy settings, including backend server availability. For further assistance, please contact technical support.
