Rumpetroll是一个基于HTML5的多人聊天程序，用户的ID在界面中呈现出来的是一个游动的蝌蚪，聊天内容的位置也随时在变化。

直接在界面中输入“name:xxx”即可定义ID，直接输入内容即可参与聊天。用鼠标点击可以引导蝌蚪游动。
该项目由Daniel Mahal、Hans Petter Eikemo、Hugo Ahlberg和Simen Brekken开发，其目的是尝试新的开放网络技术，比如WebSockets和Canvas等。
PHP移植版本（支持中文）
Rumpetroll的服务器端使用的是Ruby，开发者walkor将这个项目移植到了PHP平台。
