How to run other people's vue projects:
At work, we often have to take over other people's vue projects, then we start with svn, git After getting someone else's Vue project, how do you run it?
1. Delete the "node_modules" folder in the project, which is a dependency package of the vue project. However, because the "node_modules" folder is too large, it is generally not packaged and uploaded to svn or git, so there is no need to delete it if there is no such folder.
2. Delete package-lock.json. package-lock.json records the tree structure of the entire node_moudles folder, and also records the download address of the module. However, it is generated based on the project author's npm version library. If this dependency file is not deleted, npm version differences are prone to occur. resulting in an error.
3. Then open cmd and cd to the project directory. Specific operations: first enter the drive letter, and then use the cd command to switch directories. If you don’t understand, you can figure it out on your own.
4. Run npm clean cache -f
to clear the npm cache. When npm has a cache, it often fails to install dependencies. Once this problem occurs, the error message is very complete, but I tried to solve the problem one by one according to the error message, but I couldn't solve it or find out the reason.
5. Run npm install
to reinstall dependencies.
Note: It is recommended not to use cnpm installation as there will be various weird bugs. You can solve the problem of slow npm download speed by doing the following operations
npm install --registry=https://registry.npm.taobao.org
========6. Step 7 may be directly changed to boldface due to version issues. Note that if there is & in the path, there will be an error
6. Run npm run build to package.
7. Finally, after running npm run dev, the project runs successfully.
When running the command npm run dev, the npm ERR! missing script: dev error occurs.
This is because of the vue version problem. Use npm run serve to run the project.
