I have encountered this problem. I think the error is in file_get_contents

. Your URL is https, and

file_get_contents will get stuck. Try using curl instead of file_get_contents which should solve the problem. (There are two SSL settings in curl that allow the program to access https normally. By the way, everyone should know this)
