java jsp servlet tomcat one beginner Preface and study implement series want

1. Foreword

For beginners, Tomcat is a very good choice to execute JSP and Servlet. You can also use Resin, both of which cost nothing. Resin's support for Xml is very good.

2. Download and install

The download address is the official website of Resin: http://www.caucho.com/.

You can download it from this address: http://www.caucho.com/download/index.xtp. I downloaded the Resin1.1.4 version.

After downloading, unzip it to a directory. I use E: esin114 as an example here.

3. Configuration

Before that, of course we must install Apache and make it run normally.

(1) Configure Apache

Open the httpd.conf file in the conf subdirectory of apache and edit it with a text editing tool. Add the following lines:

LoadModule caucho_module 'E: esin114srunwin32-1.3.6mod_caucho.dll'

AddModule mod_caucho.c

CauchoConfigFile 'E: resin114confresin.conf'

SetHandler caucho-status

Note: The above steps can also be done in a simpler way To achieve this, just run the setup.exe in the E: esin114 in directory, hook up apache, then Apply, and finally OK. In this way, the above lines should be added automatically.

(2) Configure Resin

There is a resin.conf file in the conf subdirectory of resin, and make a backup copy of the file. Then create the resin.conf file with the following content:

4. Test

(1) Start Resin:

There is a srun under the bin of resin. exe, run it and a window will appear.

(2) Make a simple jsp file test.jsp (we use resin site as an example)

The file is placed in: apache/htdocs/test.jsp

The content is as follows:

2 + 2 =

(3) Run

in the browser and enter: http://localhost/test.jsp , the following result should appear:

2+2=4

Okay, now you have successfully installed it. You can create some subdirectories of your own under htdocs to manage files.

Note: In step 4 (1), when starting resin, you can add srun to the Win2000 service, so that the resin service starts automatically every time without having to run srun.exe every time. (Source: viphot.com)

Break or return from Java 8 stream forEach? Break or return from Java 8 stream forEach? Feb 07, 2025 pm 12:09 PM

Java 8 introduces the Stream API, providing a powerful and expressive way to process data collections. However, a common question when using Stream is: How to break or return from a forEach operation? Traditional loops allow for early interruption or return, but Stream's forEach method does not directly support this method. This article will explain the reasons and explore alternative methods for implementing premature termination in Stream processing systems. Further reading: Java Stream API improvements Understand Stream forEach The forEach method is a terminal operation that performs one operation on each element in the Stream. Its design intention is

Java Program to Find the Volume of Capsule Java Program to Find the Volume of Capsule Feb 07, 2025 am 11:37 AM

Capsules are three-dimensional geometric figures, composed of a cylinder and a hemisphere at both ends. The volume of the capsule can be calculated by adding the volume of the cylinder and the volume of the hemisphere at both ends. This tutorial will discuss how to calculate the volume of a given capsule in Java using different methods. Capsule volume formula The formula for capsule volume is as follows: Capsule volume = Cylindrical volume Volume Two hemisphere volume in, r: The radius of the hemisphere. h: The height of the cylinder (excluding the hemisphere). Example 1 enter Radius = 5 units Height = 10 units Output Volume = 1570.8 cubic units explain Calculate volume using formula: Volume = π × r2 × h (4
