Installation of CoreSeek and PHP extension modules under Linux_PHP tutorial
The system I installed CoreSeek on is Centos6.0 CoreSeek version: coreseek 3.2.14: Click to download PHP: PECL/Sphinx extension: sphinx-1.2.0.tgz Click to download. These software are all source code packages, and we need to compile and install them.
The prerequisite is that the system has installed the WEB service of apache mysql php. I installed it with yum. If you have not installed it before, please follow the link given below to complete the installation of the basic LAMP environment first.
LAMP installation tutorial: http://www.jb51.net/article/31379.htm (You can turn off Selinx and Iptables firewall before installation. Specific operations can also be found on this blog.)
The first step is to download the two source code packages mentioned above and upload them to the /lamp directory under Linux. If the directory does not exist, you can create it yourself.
The second step is to complete CorreSeek's installation of the operating system basic development library and mysql dependency library to support mysql data source and xml data source,
Coreseek installation requires pre-installed software: yum install make gcc g++ gcc-c++ libtool autoconf automake imake mysql-devel libxml2-devel expat-devel
You can first use rpm -q package name to check whether the package has been installed on your system. If it has been installed, you don’t need to install it. For example, we don’t need to install mysql-devel because we are installing the LAMP environment. It has already been installed.
Step 3, install mmseg
$ tar xzvf coreseek-3.2.14.tar.gz
$ cd coreseek-3.2.14
$ cd mmseg-3.2.14
$ ./bootstrap #The warning information output can be ignored. If an error occurs, it needs to be resolved
$ ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mmseg3
$ make && make install
$ cd ..
Step 4, install coreseek
$ cd csft-3.2.14
$ sh buildconf.sh #The warning information output can be ignored. If an error occurs, it needs to be resolved
$ ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/coreseek --without-unixodbc --with-mmseg --with-mmseg-includes=/usr/local/mmseg3/include/mmseg/ --with- mmseg-libs=/usr/local/mmseg3/lib/ --with-mysql ##If you are prompted about mysql problems, you can view the MySQL data source installation instructions
$ make && make install
$ cd ..
Now that the installation is complete, you can go to /usr/local/ to check whether there are mmseg3 and coreseek directories. If they exist, it means they have been installed correctly.
The fifth step is to install the PHP extension of sphinx-1.2.0.tgz
Before installing the extension, I need to configure the CoreSeek configuration file and start the searchd service. The location of searchd is in the /usr/local/coreseek/bin/ directory. I won’t go into how to set up this configuration because I am also researching it. I'll provide my config file here. It is convenient to install the PHP extension below. After the installation is completed, you can slowly study the functions of CoreSeek.
Click to download the configuration file and put it under /usr/local/coreseek/etc/.
Now go back to the /lamp/ directory.
$ tar xzvf sphinx-1.2.0.tgz
$ cd sphinx-1.2.0
$ phpize #If you are prompted here that you do not have this tool, you can use yum install php-devel to install this software.
$ cd ../coreseek-3.2.14/csft-3.2.14/api/libsphinxclient/
$ ./configure
$ make && make install
$ cd-
$./configurl --with-php-config=/usr/bin/php-config --with-sphinx
$ make && make install
$ vi /etc/php.ini
#Find the place where the extension loads the module and add the following line to configure, save, exit and restart the apache service. You can use phpinfo() to check whether it has been installed.
extension=sphinx.so
$ :wq
$ service httpd restart

The five basic components of the Linux system are: 1. Kernel, 2. System library, 3. System utilities, 4. Graphical user interface, 5. Applications. The kernel manages hardware resources, the system library provides precompiled functions, system utilities are used for system management, the GUI provides visual interaction, and applications use these components to implement functions.

PHP originated in 1994 and was developed by RasmusLerdorf. It was originally used to track website visitors and gradually evolved into a server-side scripting language and was widely used in web development.
