php读远程数据库的传输速度问题？
我现在有一些页面要挂到别人的网站，然后要从我的数据库读取数据到那些页面显示，如果直接mysql_connect()连接读取数据会不会很慢？会不会有很大的问题？因为还要在那些页面购买商品，然后跳到我们的后台付款···

基本上都不推荐这么做.让他将服务器托管到你们同个网段机房内.将服务器做一个内网数据，然后两个前端读内网数据服务器数据

是这样，我们有个购物的后台，但是前端想放在合作的网站去（可能是有多个网站），然后在合作的网站有一些单独的页面专门放我们网站的产品，然后点击购买跳到我们这里来付款成交。
您觉得这样的想法现实吗，好实现吗？主要是安全性这块的难度是不是很高？

是这样，我们有个购物的后台，但是前端想放在合作的网站去（可能是有多个网站），然后在合作的网站有一些单独的页面专门放我们网…… 如果是通过别人的网站来挂自己的东西，只是做个链接的话，其实也没什么的，要是涉及到付款什么的，还是谨慎点好的。
我明白你的意思，你是想把你们平台上的商品展未在其它商家网站上面。其实你们不需要开放mysql权限，因为这样别人有了数据库权限后对你们也是不安全的。
你可以了解一下其它方式的数据交互，如xml或webserver等，你们给他们提供一个这样的接口，要比你们直接给他们数据库操作权限好的多。
如果不是同一个机房，同一个交换机下，速度很慢的，最佳的方法还是做一个API接口给对方让对方去调
