PHP vs. ASP?
ASP本身不是一个真正的语言，它只是Active Server Pages的字母的简写，实际使用的语言是VB Script。ASP最大的缺点是它只能用于Microsofts Internet Information Server (IIS)，这就限制了它只能在WIN32平台上使用。现在已经有一些工具可以让ASP是其它平台的web服务器上使用，比如，Halcyon的InstantASP，Chili!Soft的Chili!Soft ASP，Active Scripting.org的OpenASP。ASP和PHP相比较，被认为是一个慢的，庞大的语言，缺乏稳定性。ASP的优点在于，如果你已经懂得用Visual Basic编程，那么因为ASP是基于VBScript的缘故，就很容易上手。同时，ASP因为是和IIS集成的，所以也更容易安装。
