关于php写的客服系统，高人！
关于php写的客服系统，请教各位高人！！！！
在网上下了2个PHP开源的客服系统，聊天的时候都是基于数据库实现的，2个聊天窗口都会2-3秒刷新一次数据库里得到里面的聊天记录，然后显示在界面上，想问问大家除了这样的方式还有其它好 一点的吗，这样经常去刷新数据库感觉用户比较多了，对数据库的开销比较大，应用程序的IM软件一般都是采用socket之类的，PHP能否也采用类似的技术实现聊天呢？PHP才刚学习没有多久，希望大家指点指点，不胜感激！！！！！！！
