Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Combat Training 1 Walkthrough

Combat Training 1 is a side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Combat Training 1 side mission.

• Quest Description: Bara the Beggar told me that in the gypsies’ camp by Rocktower Pond, there’s a showman named Tomcat who performs various feats of strength and is even good with weapons. It sounds unlikely, but maybe I could learn something from him.

Objectives:

1. Go and see Tomcat
2. Practice your swordplay with Tomcat
3. Perform a natural combo
4. Make a true combo

Starting Location: Combat Training 1

This quest can be started initially by speaking with Bara, who calls out to you when you are let out of the stockade and start Main Quest 5: Wedding Crashers. During conversation she will tell you about Tomcat.

Go and see Tomcat

Bara says Tomcat can teach you about swordplay. Head west of Zhelejow along the lake where you will find the Nomad Camp area. Tomcat can be found toward the north end of the camp where there is a fighting area.

Speak with Tomcat and ask “Are you good with a sword?” and Henry will ask him for some practice.

Practice your swordplay with Tomcat

Hop into the arena and speak with Tomcat when you are ready.

Perform a natural combo

He’ll first teach you the right, left, right (or left, right, left)sword combo, which you will need to perform successfully two times.

Make a true combo

Next he’ll teach you the up, right, left combo. This will require actively changing your aim during the combo, and the downward attack results in in aiming from the left, so you will need to use  to quickly switch your direction from the right before the second swing. Successfully perform this two times.

After this is successful you will receive some more detailed tutorial information on combat, then you will automatically start the next side quest Combat Training 2.

This finishes Combat Training 1 side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
