Assassin's Creed Shadows Flames of War Walkthrough

Flames of War is the 3rd main quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Flames of War main mission.

Destroy the reinforced door

Once inside the castle walls, head north to the first barricaded door.

Press  to sprint and charge into the barricaded door to break it down.

Kill the resistance

A group of shinobi attacks you after you break down the door. Dispatch them. Seven shinobi come at you this time, so be sure to hold  / to block attacks, if needed.

Reach the top of the castle

During this fight, you are directed to move on. From the door you broke down, head east through an open gate. If your health is low, press  to eat a ration and replenish your health.

Continue east until you reach a stairway going south. At the top of those stairs, several of your allies blow up the door blocking the path. Follow them after they blow down the door.

 

Kill the Igan leader

Once past this doorway, an elite shinobi appears. This shinobi proves more formidable simply because you must first break through his armor.

His armor bar is indicated as a yellow bar above his health. A staged sequence occurs here where the game prompts you to parry several times in a row as this elite shinobi attacks you. After that, cut him down. Since your allies also attack him, he does not prove much resistance.

Reach Mibuno Castle’s inner yard

Head up a ramp to the west. Sprint into the closed door to smash through it. This triggers a scene with Oda Nobunaga.

 After the cutscene you get a short animus transition screen, then the next quest “Fight of the Kakushiba Ikki” begins with you changing perspective to Fujibayashi Naoe.

This finishes Flames of War in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
