A Different Kind of Samurai is the 76th main quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the A Different Kind of Samurai main mission.

• Quest Giver: Available automatically after completing the quest Eyes on the Future then change the season one time
• Requirement: Available immediately after completing the quest Eyes on the Future then change the season one time
• Recommended Level: 27
• Reward: 1000 EXP
• Quest Description: Naoe overhears a disturbance in a small village where she encounters a familiar, inebriated face.

Return to Junjiro

To track A Different Kind of Samurai, navigate to the Objectives Board. Scroll to the League group and select the quest under Junjiro.

You find Junjiro south of the Katano Foothills, just west of the Hideout.

He is working on swordsmanship.

You can only interact with him as Yasuke.

There are four groups of button presses:

#1: Press R1 > Press R2 > Hold R1

#2: Press L1 > Press R1 > Press R1 > Timed R2

#3: Hold R1 > Press R2 > Press R2 > Press L1

#4: Timed R1 > Press R2 > Press R1 > Hold L1

This finishes A Different Kind of Samurai in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
