In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the Blue Mushroom for Karatom the Gestral is in Esquie's Nest, not in Gestral Village like you'd first think it is after you speak to the Gestral near their currently immobile creation.

To find the Blue Mushroom for Karatom you need to first find out Esquie's password, as this will allow you safe passage past the guard Gestral into Esquie's Nest. Then go to Esquie's nest and use the password to get past the guard Gestral, follow the path forward until you're in the large cavern.

Look to your right in the cavern (if you've not already faced them, you'll see a Mime here too). Walk to the middle of the walkway you're on while looking right and you should see some glowing Mushrooms on the ground against the wall in the distance. This is where the Blue Mushroom is.

Jump down here (or climb using the hand holds if you'd prefer) and walk over to the Mushroom cluster. Just in front of it you'll see some ground loot, interact with this to collect it and you'll have found the Blue Mushroom.

All you need to do now is return to Gestral Village and give the Blue Mushroom to Karatom and defeat the Ultimate Sakapatate to be rewarded with the Pure Outfit for Gustave.
