Secret Missions in Pokémon TCG Pocket are exactly what they sound like - missions which you won't know exist when you first start Pokémon Pocket. In fact, the game will only let you know they exist when you collect all of the required cards for said Secret Mission.

The Celestial Guardians Secret Missions were added alongside the new booster pack in April 2025. You can also complete the Shining Revelry, Triumphant Light, Space-Time Smackdown, Mythical Island and Genetic Apex if you haven't done so already.

Shiny Museum 2

'Shiny Museum 2' tasks you with collecting two of the One Rainbow Star cards. It doesn't matter which ones they are, you just need to pull two of them from the Shining Revelry boosters packs. Yet, what are Rainbow Star cards?

Rainbow Star is a rarity type introduced in Pokémon TCG Pocket alongside the Shining Revelry booster pack and are tied directly to the shiny Pokémon cards. While collecting two One Rainbow Star cards may sound easy, these cards are actually incredibly rare. In fact, they sit above the Three Gold Star cards in the terms of rarity when you look at the Pack Points menu for Shining Revelry. Yes, this could mean you'll get the Immersive Giratina ex card before you pull any Rainbow Star card. Still, they look really pretty and hopefully you'll pull one eventually. (Or save up the Pack Points!)

Here are all of the cards you need for 'Shiny Museum 2:

  • Any two cards of One Rainbow Star rarity

Rewards: 36 Wonder Hourglasses, 12 Pack Hourglasses and 10 Shop Tickets.

Yup, this is the Pokémon TCG Pocket version of the process of evolving Gimmighoul in the mainline Pokémon games and Pokémon Go, which involves collecting 999 Gimmighoul Coins. While this challenge will take a while to complete, let's just be happy we don't have to collect over 900 cards to complete it.

Here's the card you'll need to find 99 times for 'Gimmighoul Collection':

  • x99 Gimmighoul #36 (One Diamond)

Complete the Kanto Pokédex!

All Pokémon TCG Pocket Secret Missions listed

As the name suggests, 'Complete the Kanto Pokédex!' requires you to collect one card for every Pokémon in the Kanto Pokédex in Pokémon TCG Pocket. Well apart from Mew, but we'll get to Mew.

This means you need 150 cards to complete this Secret Mission and, if you want to check which Pokémon you're missing, take a look at our Gen 1 Pokémon list where we've listed all of the Kanto Pokémon by National Pokédex order.

For completing this Secret Mission, you'll receive the Immersive Mew card to truly ensure you have one card for every Pokémon in the Kanto region.

The Immersive 4

'The Immersive 4' Secret Mission is completed by obtaining the first four of the Immersive ex cards released in Pokémon Pocket. Due to this, you must first finish 'Complete the Kanto Pokédex!' Secret Mission if you want to complete 'The Immersive 4' is, at the time of writing, the only way to obtain the Immersive Mew card. Couple this with the rarity of the other three Immersive cards, this challenge will most likely take you a while to complete. Keep in mind that it only covers the original four Immersive ex cards released in-game, so you don't have to worry about finding all of the Immersive cards.

Here's the full list of the cards you need for 'The Immersive 4':

  • Charizard ex #280 (Immersive / Three Gold Star) - Charizard Genetic Apex booster packs
  • Pikachu ex #281 (Immersive / Three Gold Star) - Pikachu Genetic Apex booster packs
  • Mewtwo ex #282 (Immersive / Three Gold Star) - Mewtwo Genetic Apex booster packs
  • Mew #283 (Immersive / Three Gold Star) - Finish 'Complete the Kanto Pokédex!' Secret Mission

Rewards: 12 Pack Hourglasses, 48 Wonder Hourglasses and 20 Shop Tickets.
