Why Can’t I Access Control Center from iPhone Mirroring?

A highlight of MacOS Sequoia 15.0 and later is the iPhone mirroring feature, which allows Mac users to interact with and use iPhone directly on the Mac.

iPhone mirroring features cover almost all iPhone features, you can access almost all iPhone features on your Mac...but "almost all" is not all, because iPhone mirroring does not support certain iPhone features yet.

One of the more prominent iPhone functions that iPhone mirrors do not support at present is the Control Center, which is a quick switching method to access many iPhone functions and many other functions such as network, Shazam, assistive function switching, etc.

Another prominent iPhone feature that is currently not accessible via iPhone mirroring is the Notification Center.

What these two iPhone features have in common is that neither of them can be used in the iPhone image on a Mac, and both require swiping down from the top of the iPhone screen to access. This may be part of the problem, or it may be just an oversight by Apple when it comes to further developing this feature.

If you're wondering how to access Control Center from iPhone Mirror, you're certainly not the only one who thinks that way, as many other Mac users using iPhone Mirror have the same questions and complaints on the internet.

The ability to access control centers and notification centers from iPhone mirrors is at your fingertips and is clearly what people want, suggests that we will likely get this feature in the near future with an upcoming software update (probably MacOS Sequoia). Of course, this is just speculation that Apple may never support this feature on Mac, but there is no particularly good reason to support this claim. So while this feature is not available yet, it is reasonable to assume that in the near future we will have this feature in the iPhone image on our Mac.

To be clear, while you can't currently have access to iPhone Access Control Center or Notification Center from iPhone images on your Mac, these features are likely to be introduced in the upcoming MacOS update. However, whether this will appear in macOS Sequoia 15.3, 15.4, 15.5 or later, or even macOS 16 is still uncertain. Wait patiently and install the upcoming software update!
