New York Times Connections: Hints and Solutions for Wednesday, April 30th
Hey fellow Connections players! Let's tackle today's puzzle. I'm making a conscious effort to reduce violent imagery in my writing, so expect fewer "hit," "shoot," and similar terms. Let's strive for a more peaceful vocabulary!

How to Play Connections
Connections is a daily word puzzle from the New York Times. You're given 16 words and must arrange them into four groups of four, based on their relationships. There's only one correct solution. Incorrect guesses cost you a life; four mistakes, and it's game over.
Today's Words:
POCKET, SHAKE, PURSE, PAN, POT, DOLLY, FUN, PRIZE, TRAVEL, BREAK, BITE, KICK, ZOOM, DROP, REWARD, TILT
Hints:
- Yellow Group: Rewards for success.
- Green Group: Ways to cease an action or habit.
- Blue Group: Actions performed with a movie camera.
- Purple Group: Words that precede "-size" to indicate smallness.
Groups (Slightly Spoilery):
- Yellow Group: Things you win.
- Green Group: To stop doing something.
- Blue Group: Camera movements.
- Purple Group: Adjectives describing small size.
Answers (Major Spoilers!):
- Yellow Group: POT, PRIZE, PURSE, REWARD
- Green Group: BREAK, DROP, KICK, SHAKE
- Blue Group: DOLLY, PAN, TILT, ZOOM
- Purple Group: BITE, FUN, POCKET, TRAVEL
My game wasn't perfect, but I'm on a winning streak! I initially struggled with the Yellow group, misplacing "DROP." The Blue group was easy, and then I saw the connections for Purple and Green simultaneously. The arrangement of the words on the board helped!
Musical Interlude:
A recommendation from our Discord community: Gioachino Rossini's William Tell Overture. Here's a performance from the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra's 100th-anniversary concert:

New York Times Connections game tips and answers (Friday, April 18) Hello everyone, connecters! Happy weekend! I mentioned that this is WrestleMania weekend the other day, so today and tomorrow I may be watching a lot of wrestling matches. It should be very interesting! Oh, of course, I will definitely watch the latest episode of The Last of Us tomorrow. I wrote an article about the key changes made from The Last of Us 2 in Season 1 and why I thought it was a good decision (although I had some reservations initially): The first major change in Season 2 of The Last of Us appears to be to protect Abby’s cast I'm not worried at all about the next episode? Aside from that, I don't know what I'm going to do this weekend because I'm alone. Maybe I should
