This latest installment strongly resembles the high school mobile suit duels featured in Witch from Mercury, pitting two teams against each other in a battle of mechs.

However, the backdrop elevates these two-on-two clashes, adding a layer of intrigue and suspense. GQuuuuuuX finally unveils the MAV, though the acronym remains unexplained.

Here, at battle density Minovsky Particle levels, the first attacking suit reveals its position, placing itself at a disadvantage. This is where the wingman MAV system proves crucial, enabling mutual support and a more balanced fight.

This clever adaptation modifies combat tactics in the presence of Minovsky Particles, which disable radar and other sensors. Interestingly, Yoshiyuki Tomino's original request for Minovsky Particles aimed to force closer-range combat, as he found long-range sniping less visually appealing. The GQuuuuuuX team has masterfully expanded on this core concept.
