Using sleep data from compatible Galaxy devices (smartphones, Galaxy Watches 4/5/6/7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Fit3, and Galaxy Ring), SmartThings analyzes sleep environments (temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, light) to provide sleep quality summaries and personalized improvement suggestions. SmartThings can then automatically adjust your sleep routine, such as turning off lights and the TV at bedtime and activating wake-up routines like opening curtains or playing music. The simplified device setup process, Calm Onboarding, initially launched for Samsung devices purchased through official stores, now extends to compatible third-party smart home devices. Users purchasing from Samsung's official website will receive purchase and delivery updates, along with step-by-step setup instructions within the SmartThings app (initially launching in Korea, with expansion planned).

Finally, the update incorporates Matter 1.4 compatibility, broadening support to include energy-saving devices like water heaters, heat pumps, solar power systems, battery storage, and switches, in addition to existing support for lights, thermostats, and more.
