The Pokémon TCG Pocket's event cycle typically features six rotating events with minor variations. However, the Pawmot Drop Event offers a refreshing change, making reward acquisition simpler!

While not revolutionary, the event introduces new cards, charming artwork, and a particularly cute Pawmot. Significantly, it also boasts increased rewards compared to previous Drop events, boosting your chances of collecting this coveted prize.

What's in the Pawmot Drop Event?

Similar to past Drop events, this is a Solo Battle event where you face AI-controlled decks featuring Pawmot and other Lightning-type rodent Pokémon. The event runs from April 7th, 2025, to April 17th, 2025, giving you ten days to secure these exclusive promos.

New Cards in the Pawmot Drop Event

Five new cards debut in this event: three reprints with updated art and two entirely new cards. This presents a fantastic opportunity to complete decks, upgrade existing ones, or build your collection for future releases.

The star attraction is the full-art Pawmot promo, a reprint from Shining Revelry, featuring Pawmot, Pawmo, and Pawmi. With a 12.66% drop rate per Promo Pack (roughly one in eight packs), it's a highly sought-after card.

Floatzel, a mechanically unique addition, boasts the "Attack the Wound" attack, dealing increased damage (70) if the opponent's Active Pokémon is already damaged. Its drop rate is 23.84% (approximately one in four packs).

Ekans, another new card, possesses the "Poison Sting" attack, which always poisons the opponent's Active Pokémon. This card also has a 23.84% drop rate.

Finally, reprints of Bidoof (23.84% drop rate) and Machamp (15.82% drop rate) from Shining Revelry round out the new card offerings.

Pawmot Drop Event Battles

Four distinct decks await, with higher difficulty levels increasing your Promo Pack chances. Expert difficulty guarantees a Promo Pack, but requires completing the easier difficulties first. A new feature rewards a Promo Pack for your first win in each difficulty level.
